WHAT'S NEW?  WHAT'S CHANGED?

There have been some recent changes and improvements to the Australian Apprenticeship system.

The Australian Government has made some recent changes to incentives as announced in the May Budget.  These changes may affect existing and potential apprentices and employers.  To find out about what's changed click HERE.

The NT Department of Education and Training has also made some changes, in particular to the Apprentice and Trainee Travel and Accommodation Scheme.  From 1 January 2010, the Department will only fund up to a maximum of four interstate travel claims per calendar year per apprentice or trainee.  Should more than four blocks of training be required, the cost will need to be met by the apprentice / trainee or employer. For your reference and information, the revised policy can be accessed HERE.

Stay tuned to this website for more updated news on changes and events.  If you would like some more information on what has changed, or you are not sure if any of these affect you, contact us on 1300 137 130 or email enquiry@aacnt.com.au
