Registered Training Organisations

The Registered Training Organisation plays a vital role in the successful completion of the Training Contract. To assist Australian Apprenticeships NT in administering Training Contracts there are two key requirements of RTOs.

Training Plan

The Training Plan is a list of units of competency/modules that an Australian Apprentice is required to complete to achieve their qualification. The Training Plan must be signed by the Employer, Australian Apprentice and RTO and is required under the Northern Territory Employment and Training Authority Act to be submitted to Australian Apprenticeships NT within the probationary period. Probation for Certificate I and II qualifications is 1 month and for Certifcate III and above the probation period is 3 months. Click here to see a sample Training Plan.
