Minister's Awards for Excellence

Congratulations to Hastings Deering, the Northern Territory Employer winner in the 2008 Ministers Awards for Excellence, held at Parliament House in Canberra in September.  Runners-up were Lil Antz Childcare Centre in Alice Springs.  Stay tuned for information on how to nominate for the 2009 awards.

The Australian Government Awards recognise the valuable contribution employers make to providing quality training through Australian Apprenticeships. The awards are open to businesses of all sizes and industries that employ at least one Australian Apprentice.

As well as the prestige and recognition to be gained as a leader in the Australian Apprenticeships scheme, the winner of the NT Region Award receives a cash prize of $5000 and an invitation to attend the awards ceremony, including free flights and accommodation.
